Ody is built for businesses operating in the United States and Canada: every plan includes a US phone number (local or toll-free) with calling and texting across the US & Canada.

- Numbers — US local numbers (searchable by area code) and US toll-free numbers.
- Calling & texting — included across the US & Canada on every plan.
Signing up from abroad
You can verify your mobile number (the last step on the welcome page, after checkout and the identity check) from any country in the Americas, Europe and Oceania — pick your flag in the country picker and type the number as you'd dial it at home. Mobiles in Africa and Asia (including the Middle East) can't receive the verification text; you'll see "We can't text numbers in that country" — contact support and we'll verify you manually.
Separately, Ody runs an eligibility check at account creation based on your region. Signups from certain regions aren't currently eligible; if that applies, you'll see:
"We're unable to set up your account. Your account isn't eligible to use Ody at this time."
The check happens once, right after your account is created — before any workspace setup or payment.
If you were blocked by mistake
Travelers, expats, and VPN users can occasionally trip the eligibility check even when their business is US- or Canada-based. If you believe your account was blocked in error, email [email protected] — legitimate accounts can be reviewed and reinstated.

Can I sign up while traveling abroad?
Signup runs an eligibility check on your region at account creation, so signing up from some regions is blocked even for otherwise-eligible businesses. Sign up from your home region if possible, or contact [email protected].
My signup was blocked but I think that's wrong.
