The Ody iPhone app follows your iPhone's language by default, and supports English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Filipino (Tagalog), Vietnamese, Arabic, French, and Korean. You can override it just for Ody, and your choice syncs to your account so the web app matches.
Step-by-step (in the app)
- Tap More in the tab bar, then Settings.
- Find the Language section.
- Tap Language and pick from the list — each language is shown in its own name.
- The interface switches right away; restart the app if any screen lags behind.
- To follow your iPhone again, pick System default.
Alternative: iOS per-app language
iOS has a built-in way to set a language for a single app:
- Open iPhone language settings from Ody's Language section — or go to iOS Settings, scroll to Ody, and tap Language.
- Pick a language. iOS restarts the app in that language.
Both routes end up in the same place; use whichever you prefer.
What changes — and what doesn't
- Your in-app choice is saved to your Ody account, so the web app at app.ody.co uses the same language.
- Arabic flips the app to right-to-left layout automatically.
- Call transcripts, voicemails, and your customers' messages are never translated — they stay as spoken or written.
