Mute, hold, and keypad during calls
While you're on a call, the call card gives you six controls — Mute, Keypad, Hold, Add, Transfer, and Record — plus a red end-call button.
Step-by-step
During an active call, the call card shows a 3×2 grid of controls under the call timer.
Press Mute to cut your microphone. The button highlights while muted; press it again to unmute.
Press Hold to pause the call. Press it again to resume.
Press Keypad to open the tone pad. Each key you press is sent to the call as a touch tone — use it to enter an extension or navigate an automated menu. The digits you've sent show above the pad.
Close the keypad with the × in its top-right corner; the call continues normally.
You can also jot notes in the Add call notes… box on the call card while you talk.
On the iPhone app, in-call controls are mute, speaker, and the keypad; on mobile web they're Mute, Hold, and Record.

What is the in-call keypad for?
It sends touch tones (DTMF) on the live call — for punching in an extension or navigating another business's phone menu.
Does hold play music?
Hold pauses the audio between you and the caller. Custom hold music isn't configurable yet.
