Astra credits and usage

Astra usage is measured in credits: every plan includes 1,000 credits per month, an AI-answered call costs 100 credits, and calls under 15 seconds are free.

How credits work

1. Included allowance. Every plan — Starter, Growth, and Enterprise — includes 1,000 AI credits per monthly cycle.
2. What a call costs. When Astra answers a call, it costs 100 credits — unless the call lasts under 15 seconds, which is free (so misdials and hang-ups don't count against you).
3. Monthly reset. Credits refresh each calendar month; unused credits don't roll over.
4. Only AI-answered calls count. Calls your team answers, voicemails, and texts never use credits.

What Ody enforces today (honestly)

• There's no in-app usage meter yet. Usage is metered accurately behind the scenes, but the AI agent screen doesn't display a credit balance today.
• Nothing is cut off. Going past 1,000 credits doesn't disable Astra right now — we're deliberately not enforcing limits while we learn how teams actually use it.
• Planned: an in-app usage view, alerts as you approach your allowance, and paid credit tiers for heavy users. This article will be updated when they ship.

• A quick test call under 15 seconds is credit-free, so checking your greeting costs nothing.
