Manage Astra on Android
The AI tab in the Android app manages Astra, your AI agent — you can enable or disable it, change how it greets and talks to callers, adjust its answering rules and work schedule, and edit its knowledge, right from your phone. It is the same screen as the iPhone app.
What you can do on Android
- Tap the AI tab. If your workspace hasn't set up an agent yet, tap Set up AI agent.
- From there you can:
- Turn the agent on or off — the Enabled switch, the same as the web.
- Edit the greeting — the first thing callers hear.
- Change the tone — how the agent speaks.
- Adjust answering rules — who answers during hours and after hours (AI agent, the app, or voicemail).
- Set the work schedule — tap Work schedule, choose Always open or Custom schedule, set one open window per day and the timezone, then Save.
- Manage knowledge — add a Website or Typed text source, or swipe a source to Remove it. Knowledge feeds both the agent and AI suggested replies.
- Tap Save changes at the bottom of the form.
Changes save to the same configuration the web uses, so they take effect for the very next call.
What stays on the web
One desktop-shaped editor remains web-only (at app.ody.co, in the AI Agent section): the visual flow builder — the drag-and-drop canvas for designing call flows (business hours branching, phone menus, ring groups, and where the agent steps in). The web's schedule grid also allows several windows per day; the app edits one window per day. Both edit the same underlying settings — the app reflects whatever you build on the web.
Testing your agent
The most reliable test is the real one: connect a number to the AI agent (web: Settings → Numbers) and call it. The agent's calls, summaries, and any messages it takes appear in your shared inbox on every platform.
