Get the Ody Android app
The Ody Android app is a native app with exactly the same features and design as the Ody iPhone app: the shared inbox, live calling from your business number with Android's native call screen, Astra (your AI agent), tasks, contacts, analytics, workspace settings and your account. It needs Android 8.0 or later. Create your account in the app, or sign in with the one you already use on the web — one account, every platform.
Where to find the download link
- Google Play. Search for Ody and look for the three-ellipse Ody icon and the name Ody: AI Business Phone. While the app is in Google Play's testing tracks, the listing is reachable only through the invite link your Ody team shares — ask in chat if you'd like early access.
- On ody.co. The Ody in your pocket section and the footer carry the store badges.
- In your inbox. Once your identity is verified at sign-up, Ody emails you the app links.
Before you start
- An Android phone running Android 8.0 or later with Google Play services.
- Either an existing Ody account, or — to create one — a card for the 7-day free trial's card check and a few minutes for the identity verification (the same steps as signing up on the web).
Step-by-step
On your phone, open Google Play and search for Ody, or open the invite link you received.
Tap Install.
Open Ody. The first screen shows what Ody does; tap Create an account to set up a new workspace, or Log in if you already have one — see Sign in or create an account on Android.
When prompted, allow notifications so you hear about calls and texts. The app asks for microphone access the first time you place or answer a call.
What you get on Android
The full day-to-day workflow — the same as on iPhone: the shared inbox with AI suggested replies, live calling with Android's native call screen and lock-screen ringing, your AI agent's settings and work schedule, tasks, contacts, analytics, workspace settings (members, numbers, voicemail, caller ID, forwarding, API keys), a live language switch, and your account (profile, sign out, delete account). A few setup and billing tasks stay on the web — see Android vs web: what's different.
Troubleshooting
- Google Play says the app isn't available — the app may still be in a testing track for your region. Open app.ody.co in Chrome meanwhile; it has a phone layout with the inbox, calls, contacts and settings.
- The app installs but Google sign-in fails — update Google Play services from Google Play, then try again. Email + password and Sign in with Apple don't depend on it.
- You're on iPhone — get the iPhone app instead: Get the Ody iPhone app.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an Ody app for Android?
Yes. The Ody Android app has the same screens and features as the iPhone app — inbox, live calling, AI agent, tasks, contacts, analytics and settings. It is rolling out through Google Play testing tracks first; until it reaches the public Play listing, app.ody.co in Chrome has a phone layout you can add to your home screen.
What Android version do I need?
Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later. Calls, notifications and the language picker work best on Android 13 or later.
Can I create an Ody account from the Android app?
Yes — tap Create an account on the first screen. The plan step opens a secure Stripe checkout page in your browser and returns you to the app. You can also sign up on the web and then log in on Android; it's the same account either way.
Does the Android app cost extra?
No. It's included with every Ody plan — you sign in with the same account and workspace.
