Schedule a message

Scheduled sending is not available in Ody yet — the Schedule send (clock) button you see in the composer is a preview of an upcoming feature, and messages are only sent when you click Send.
What exists today
- The composer toolbar includes a Schedule send clock icon next to the emoji button.
- Clicking it currently shows a confirmation toast but does not queue your message for later — nothing is sent until you press Send yourself.
We're building real scheduled delivery (pick a date and time, and Ody sends the message for you). This article will be updated when it ships.
A reliable workaround: tasks with due dates
Until scheduling ships, use a task as your reminder to send at the right moment:
- Open the conversation and click Tasks in the right panel.
- Click Add task, name it (for example, "Text Sophie the reminder"), and set a due date.
- When it's time, the task shows under Today on the Tasks screen — open the conversation and send.
